not lucky but blessed

yesterday was our YFC general assembly in SPC, and I really had a great time. I also met new friends from other schools. The main event for me in the program was when kuya *i forgot his name*'s time to talk. His talk was all about the great RACE in our life. What doe RACE really mean? According to kuya *i forgot his name*, R-eality. In God, reality is all about His love to us. A-dventure. The great adventure when we serve God. C-alling. His calling for us youth. E-xcitement. It's all about excitement when we are in the service of God; like meeting new friends, travelling to other places and many many more! After the talk, the most awaited moment is the raffle for the ILC comes next. Once you were picked, you can avail the 50% ILC registration fee (actually, the reg fee is 1,000 pesos.) I was really really excited `bouhttp://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=5690247294386964142t that even though knowing that i won't be picked. When kuya *i forgot is name* picked the rolled paper, i was half-wishing my name being there. I whispered to my seatmate Krizelle what could the lucky person be doing right now.. then, BOOM! my name was called! I was so shocked. Out of  hundreds of people out there, i was the FIRST person who was called. I was so happy. Now i don't have to worry for my reg. fee in ILC. :) I guess God was listening to me a while ago. (I was so happy!)
 For the closing reamrks, Kuya *i forgot his name* told us that we were not lucky for being picked but blessed because of God. That statement really made me smile. :)
